How to create an Amazon Affiliate Website

Amazon is one of the largest e-commerce platforms on the planet, selling a wide variety of products.

In addition to supplying everything from the world's top MacBooks to dishwasher tablets and mattresses, Amazon Associates offers programs that allow anyone to receive commissions, only by referring people to the Amazon website.

Once you sign up for this program, you will receive payment every time you purchase an Amazon product through its unique referral link. If you already have a blog or website, the Amazon Associates Program can be a way to start making money from your site — or you can boost the revenue already generated.

This article will show you how to quickly and easily create Amazon Affiliate Store Using WordPress, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce Amazon Affiliate Plugin.

Even if you have never heard of the Amazon Associates Program before, by the end of this article, you will have enrolled as an official Amazon affiliate and created a fully functioning Amazon affiliate store that you can place anywhere on your website.

What is the Amazon Associates Program?

The Amazon Associates Program enables you to earn commissions by promoting any product from Amazon's huge inventory. Using simple tools like WordPress and the free WooCommerce plugin, you can quickly and easily create an Amazon affiliate store that links through products currently listed for sale on Amazon and then store it on your website or blog. Lets on

Whenever someone clicks on a product in your online store, they will be redirected to Amazon, where they can complete their purchase as usual. For each sale that originates from your referral link, you receive a commission without any headaches, usually associated with running your online store, including sourcing products, tracking inventory, shipping orders, and customers. Including responding to complaints.

The amount of commission you earn on each eligible sale can vary by product categories. For example, according to the United States Associates Program Standard Fee Schedule, you can expect to make a 5% commission on sales that fall in the digital music category, but 10% on all products classified as Luxury Beauty Commission.

You will find a complete list of percentages on Associates Central. However, rates may vary across locations, so make sure that you are reviewing information for the correct locale, such as information for the United Kingdom or the United States.

You will receive a fixed fee each time a customer uses your affiliate link to sign up for some of Amazon's services. For example, in the US, you earn $ 3.00 every time someone enrolls for the Amazon Prime Free Trial and $ 10.00 for each person who registers for an Audible Gold Digital Membership. Again, you find a full stop of these charges, known as "bounties" on the Amazon Associates page for your local security.

You might be thinking about the differences between the Amazon Associates program and Amazon affiliates, mainly since these terms are often used interchangeably. Essentially, you become an Amazon affiliate by signing up for the Amazon Associates Program, so by the end of this article, you will be an affiliate enrolled in the affiliate program.

Downloading WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates Plugin

Partner with Amazon: Becoming an Amazon Affiliate

Before you can start promoting Amazon products on your website or blog, you must enroll in the Amazon Associates Program.

To get started, go to the Amazon Associates website for your location. For example, I am using the UK version. Your Amazon Associate ID is location-specific, so if you want to work in multiple locations, you must complete the registration process multiple times for different places.

Now select Join and log in with your Amazon account details. Specify where we want to receive your Amazon commission. By default, Amazon will pay into your primary Amazon account. Once you are happy with your payment information, click Next.

Enter all the top-level website domains and mobile app store links where we plan to advertise Amazon products. There may be a chance that your site has not yet been made public - for example, perhaps you are in the testing stages. However, even in this scenario, you still have to provide all the URLs you plan to use.

After being happy with the information you have entered, click Next. You will now be prompted to confirm that your website or mobile app is not primarily intended for children under 13. They are not eligible to display ads through the Amazon Associates Program. Read the information carefully, and if you believe your website or blog is available, select the number after confirmation.

Next, enter your preferred Associates Store ID. What about your website or mobile application? Field, and enter as much information as possible. This data will provide you with customized content, so make sure you supply accurate information to whom your website is targeting and the types of products you want to promote.

Then, go to the following dropdown menu: Which of the following topics best describes your websites or mobile applications? Open each dropdown menu in turn and select your website's primary and secondary issues, such as books, businesses, travel, or movies.

Use various checkboxes to specify the types of Amazon you want to promote, such as digital downloads, electronics, or health and beauty. Your website or mobile application uses the dropdown menu to specify that category, for example, whether it is a blog or a comparative shopping engine.

In the Traffic and Monetization section, specify the method you use for direct traffic to your websites, such as forums, SEO, blogs, or lead generation.

Next, provide some information about how you use your website or app to generate income. If this is your first attempt to monetize your WordPress site, you can choose Amazon Affiliates as the only way to monetize my website.

How do you usually create a link? Dropdown and choose from: Manually via blog editor, content management system, HTML editor, text editor, or others. Open the next dropdown menu & provide an estimate for the total number of unique visitors our application or website attracts per month. Then what is your primary reason for joining the Amazon Associates Program? Drop down. You can choose from the following options: To get rich content for my site; To monetize my website, or other.

Next, tell Amazon how you heard about the Amazon Affiliates program. And finally, prove that you are not a robot by navigating the CAPTCHA (always everyone's favorite move).

Confirm your identity

You will have to verify your identity by providing a PIN on Amazon over the phone.

Enter a telephone number that you can answer now. Note that this was an automated service at the time of writing, and I received my phone call within seconds. Select Call Me Now, which generates a PIN. Make sure you want to keep this information on hand! After a few moments, you should receive a call to the telephone number you have provided. When prompted, press your phone key

You can either choose to enter your payment and tax information or wait until later. You will need to provide this information before receiving any payment, so you want to complete this step now - to help keep the word count of this article under control, I will skip this step!

Now that you are enrolled, you can view all the information from the Amazon Associates account at any time by logging into the Amazon Dashboard.

How do I import Amazon products?

Before you can get information about Amazon's products and listings, you must generate an access key ID and a secret key. Then, share this information with our WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates plugin.

We can generate these keys using Amazon's Product Advertising API. Still, there is a catch: you can only access the Product Advertising API after Amazon has manually reviewed your ad or website, and you should be able to access Amazon Final approval has been received in the Associate's Program. Also, Amazon will only review your application after generating a minimum of three qualified sales through your referral link, which must occur within 180 days of joining the Amazon Associates Program.

If you have not yet generated these three required sales, there are some possible workarounds. Still, in this tutorial, we will circumvent the ID and secret requirements of access using the WZone Direct Import browser extension.

This Chrome extension makes it possible to import products into your WordPress account without entering an access key ID or secret key. The downside is that the WZone direct import extension can only introduce a single product at a time, which can be tedious if you have many products to import. However, if you are a new affiliate who is eager to get started today, you can use WZone Direct Import to create an original store. At this point, you will be working towards generating those three initial sales. Can begin. Once you generate these sales, you will gain access to the WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates mass import facility, which will make your store population much more comfortable.

In this section, I show you how to import a handful of products using the WZone direct import browser extension before you see how to get your hands on the required access key IDs and secret keys using the Product Ads API Can get it.

Importing Products with WZone Direct Import Expansion

To install WZone direct import browser extension:

·     In your WordPress account, choose WZone from the left-hand menu.

·     Select the direct import extension.

·     Get the link here Click on WZone Direct Import Extension.

·     Select Add to Chrome.

·     Switch back to your WordPress account, and then select WZone> Direct Import Extensions from the left-hand menu.

·     Double-check that the API URL matches the URL of your website, and then click Generate New Key.

·     Select Save Settings.

A banner should now appear, asking if you want to authorize this extension; Choose Authorized. After a few moments, you should see a message successfully added to a website.

To import your first product using WZone Direct, first go to Amazon and find a product you want to add to your affiliate store.

A WZone direct import banner should now open at the top of your screen; If you do not see this banner, click on the small arrow icon, and the flag should appear (where the cursor is positioned in the following screenshot).

Hover over the Where to Import text and choose your website from the subsequent dropdown menu. Finally, click on the small cloud icon (where the cursor is located in the following screenshot).

After a few moments, you will see a notification that this product has been imported successfully. If you go back to your WordPress dashboard and select Products> All Products, you should notice a new item.

If you select the view, you will see that all the information for this product has been imported into your website and an add to cart link that will allow users to add this item to their shopping cart. Whenever a user is ready to investigate, they will automatically be redirected to the relevant Amazon page, where they can complete their purchase as usual - and you will receive your commission!

Generating Amazon Key: Accessing Product Advertising API

Once you make three qualified sales, the Amazon team will review your website to ensure that you comply with their affiliate program's operating agreement. Assuming you pass this check, your application will be approved, and you will have access to Amazon's Product Advertising API. You can generate an access key ID and a secret key and start using the WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates plugin to mask products, saving you a significant amount of time and effort.

Let's look at how you create these keys using the Product Ads API:

·     Head on to the Amazon Associates console and sign in to your account.

·     Select the Tools tab, followed by the Product Advertising API.

·     Choose Join.

·     When prompted, provide the information requested.

·     On the Success page, choose to Manage Your Account.

From here, choose the AWS Security Credentials Console. Note that if you do not already have an AWS (Amazon Web Services) account, Amazon will automatically create one. In a subsequent popup, choose to Start with IAM Users. You will now be guided through creating IAM users and allowing them access to the Product Advertising API.

·     Select Add User.

·     Give this User a memor-able name, such as Product Adverting-user.

·     Find the Access Type section, and then choose Programmatic Access.

·     Choose Next: Permissions

·     Select Attach Existing Policies Directly.

·     Select Create Policy.

·     On the subsequent page, select the Create your policy section, and choose Select.

·     On the Review Policy page, enter the name of the recall policy, such as AmazonProductAdolarsAccess.

·     The Details section provides some information about this policy; for example, this policy provides full access to the Product Advertising API.

·     Choose Validate Policy, then choose Create Policy.

·     Return to the Add User page. In the Policy Type section, select the policy you just created.

·     Choose Next: Review and examine the information you have entered. If you are happy to proceed, click Create User.

You can either select Download.csv, which downloads a CSV file that contains your access key ID and secret key, or you can select Show to see your keys as plain text. Just be aware that you will not be able to retrieve these keys for security reasons, so it is recommended that you download the CSV file and store it somewhere securely.

Adding Amazon AWS Keys to WordPress

Now that you have your access key ID and secret key, it's time to share this information with the WooCommerce Amazon Affiliate Plugin:

·     In the left-hand menu of WordPress, choose WZone> Configuration.

·     Make sure the General and Amazon tabs are selected.

·     Find the Add Multiple Keys sections and copy/paste the Access ID key and the Secret Access key into two text fields.

·     While we are here, open the Amazon Location dropdown and choose the location where you registered as an Amazon affiliate.

Now scroll down to your affiliate ID section, and copy/paste your affiliate ID to the correct geographical location. If you don't remember your affiliate ID, log in to Amazon Associates' dashboard and check the upper-right corner, which contains your unique affiliate ID.

Import hundreds of Amazon products: WZone's Crazy Mode

Now that we have our keys, we can finally use WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates to import potentially hundreds of Amazon products with just a few clicks of the mouse!

You can import Amazon products using the plugin's crazy mode. This mode provides several import methods, which are cherry-picking Amazon's best sellers to search for products using a keyword or search for products using their ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) code.

To use crazy mode:

·     Select crazy import mode.

·     Crazy import mode is divided into three tabs:

In this tab, you can search for products using keywords or phrases. Since Amazon sells millions of different products, you can also consider limiting your searches to specific Amazon departments or setting the maximum number of pages that a plugin should search for.

After you are happy with the information you have entered, click Launch Search. After a few moments, WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates will return a list of all products that match your search criteria. You can select the product you want to import and make some optional changes, for example, limiting the maximum number of images imported per product.

When you are happy with your selection, click Import Products.
